A walk in their shoes: What it's like for a child with executive functioning difficulties
This presentation is a hands-on experiential learning opportunity for parents to step into their child's shoes. We will engage parents on the most common executive functioning difficulties they face at home, provide perspective through activities that target executive functioning skills, and give insight on how to develop these skills in their children. Parents/Caregivers will learn what executive functioning skills are, how challenges with these skills may show up at home and school, and simple ways to support their child.
