Pregnant or just had a baby?
You deserve to feel supported—every step of the way.
Our Maternal Behavioral Health Program is here to walk beside you through one of life’s most important—and sometimes most overwhelming—journeys.
During pregnancy and throughout your baby’s first year, we’re here to connect you with the care and support you need. Our approach is always rooted in respect, compassion, and zero judgment, no matter your situation, story or choice.
Support You Deserve, Care You Can Trust
From emotional well-being and mental health care to practical supports like housing, food, and transportation, our program looks at the whole picture of your health. We believe every mother deserves to feel supported, understood, and empowered to care for herself and her baby.
Feel more emotionally balanced
Pregnancy and parenting bring big changes. We’re here to help you find calm, stability, and confidence during this important time.
Manage stress, anxiety, depression, or substance use
Our team can connect you with proven tools, resources, and professionals who understand you.
Get connected to therapy, peer support, or medication if needed
Every person’s journey is different. We’ll guide you to the right support for your unique needs.
Access help with housing, food, or transportation
If you’re worried about where you’ll live, how you’ll put food on the table, or how you’ll get to medical appointments, we can connect you to community resources that make everyday life a little easier.
Who is this for?
Our Maternal Behavioral Health Program is for moms and birthing parents who are pregnant, recently had a baby, or adjusting to life with a little one under a year old. You can take part if you’re already getting care at Syracuse Community Health or Jordan Health in Rochester, or if you’d like to begin care at either location.
You don’t need to change doctors or start over somewhere new. We work alongside your existing care team, including your OB-GYN, midwife, doula, or primary provider, to make sure you have seamless, coordinated support.
